Born in Peru, Giancarlo Perez (Gian Xavier) began his musical journey at age five, performing with classical orchestras, folkloric ensembles, and choirs. Early recognition led him to represent one of the country’s top music schools in national showcases.

After moving to San Francisco Bay Area, he expanded his craft as gospel music director, sharpening his skills in vocal arrangements, rhythm, and live multi-instrumental performance. Over the years, he has produced for artists in Latin, world orchestral genres, in both Spanish and English, while developing a catalog at KGM, an indie Music Publishing company he co-founded. 

Influenced by film scores like The Lion King and Tarzan, Giancarlo cultivated a passion for cinematic soundscapes and emotion-driven composition. Today, he focuses on expanding his footprint in the industry through artist collaborations, blending orchestral depth with world pop, while staying true to the roots that shape his work.
